![]() ![]() Wrong graphics card is being used by AutoCAD. In certain cases the drawing may crash Outdated graphics driver. The drawing space may go blank and the cursor may disappear. As a matter of fact, no one here even knew about the double click wheel "zoom extents" at all. When zooming within a drawing in AutoCAD, the program freezes. > How might this "special" feature be disabled? While the feature may have been implemented in previous versions, the sudden "zoom extents" never happened while panning. > The program obviously cannot tell the difference between releasing the wheel at the end of a pan, pressing the wheel again to continue panning (after moving the cursor to another spot) and a quick double click of the wheel to actually do a desired "zoom extents". > We zoom in to pick items (for the selection set), pan to go to other spots on the dwg (to select more items) and more than half the time the drawing "zooms extents" while we are in the middle of panning. ![]() ![]() While it may be handy for those who cannot remember how to spell "z" and then "e", it is driving us here at my office crazy. I have noted with dismay the (apparent) inability to turn off this "feature". ![]()
